Project: Displaced was a Thomson Foundation media development project based in Ukraine. Simon and a co-trainer, worked with and advised 10 Ukrainian journalists over the course of 6 weeks, to produce Displaced. Displaced focuses on first hand accounts of topics relating to internally displaced people from the east of Ukraine, displaced by the conflict with Russia. Over the duration of the project, travelling across Ukraine, they produced four 30 minute magazine style episodes focusing on a variety of themes including trauma, accommodation and jobs. A careful balance of training and high quality output.
